Are the above grid just for Twitter bootstrap or also for Skeleton ? Any suggestions how to also plan for screens that are wider than usual (such as large apple monitors) ?

@Julie this is only for Bootstrap. The "Large" desktop template above is for min-width: 1200px fixed width layout. You could use that for larger layouts.

The .bmml is the Balsamiq Mockups file that you can download. You can learn about how to download this file and what to do with it here: http://support.balsamiq.com/customer/portal/articles/1311316.
